Cricket

Cricket is probably the toughest test of any synthetic grass surface. Most of the play is concentrated over a very small area of the surface which is why we use our toughest products.

Artificial Lawn Supplies products are designed for our harsh range of climatic conditions. Australia has the highest exposure to ultraviolet radiation which is why our turf has one of the highest levels of UV stabilisation.

Cricketers are thrilled with our all weather synthetic cricket surfaces. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, synthetic grass can cope with all weather conditions.

Our distinct laying method ensures an even bounce at each end increasing the safety level for batsmen and fieldsmen at all levels of the game.

Our synthetic pitches reduce injury to players by providing a level playing surface. Its durability offers the ability to withstand the pounding given by fast bowlers with very little maintenance. This along with our quick-draining design means keen cricketers can enjoy more play whatever the weather.

Our synthetic grass pitches can be easily covered in the off season to allow multi-use of the sports field with minimal disruption.

Bowls

Village Green is one of Australia’s leading synthetic surface for bowls. The surface is manufactured using polypropylene yarn, to the manufacturer’s exclusive specification.

This specification was developed well over ten years ago, and Village Green is now being used on greens all over Australia.

It still provides the ideal surface for bowls, giving a natural bias and enabling play in all directions. This last point is further enhanced by laying the carpet diagonally which gives a far more consistent playing surface.

Our greens are designed and built to the latest specifications and highest tolerances using our unique laser controlled levelling equipment.

For existing greens we undertake re-leveling, re-laying and upgrading of greens and rinks as required to suit all requirements and budgets.

We would expect the carpet to last for between 10 and 15 years, after which time the carpet alone may need to be replaced.

This lifespan will be affected by maintenance and we recommend the use of a powered brush as required.

Some provision should be made to have the surface professionally cleaned when necessary. This will keep the pile even textured and free from pollutants.

Village Green can be played on 24 hours a day, seven days a week which should enable a club to generate more income. We know that other products are available, but if there was a better way to produce a bowling surface, we would be doing it.

Village Green is a tried and tested surface and there is no need to risk the future of your club with anything other than a reliable and successful surface.

Golf

Putting greens

There’s no doubt that practising on putting greens is a great way to lower your handicap. In those awful moments when your swing lets you down, putting can save your score. If you want to practise just your putting, chipping or pitching it can often seem more of an effort to get in the car and drive to the golf club.

By installing a green at home even if you have only five minutes to spare you can sneak in a little practice.

Even when you are practising on your own backyard putting green you will want to play on a surface that is as similar as possible to an actual golf green. Artificial Lawn Supplies has some of the best synthetic putting greens available on the market today at their fingertips. The ball roll and speed mirrors that of a standard, natural turf, green.

Durable and hardwearing

If you want to practice regularly you know that a synthetic putting green will last you day-in, day-out. Our putting greens are designed and manufactured to a very high standard and are very low maintenance. You can have confidence that an artificial putting green will not disintegrate, fade or wear out.

Saves your garden from wear and tear

Installing a synthetic golf green means you can use your backyard as a putting green without causing irreparable damage to your garden or home. Unlike a real golf green there’s no watering, feeding, mowing or other maintenance issues.

Our tailor-made artificial putting greens are not just for backyard use. They are equally suitable for golf clubs, golf centres, practice ranges as they are for your own home. Our putting greens are the number one choice for many levels of golfers for their own home.
